Wind in the Willows

This year’s Christmas Production was Southbrook’s very own musical adaptation of everyone’s favourite tale from the riverbank …. The Wind in the Willows.

Pupils from year seven through to year eleven took part in retelling the story of Ratty, Mole, Badger and Toad ( not to mention those sneaky stoats and evil weasels!) There were catchy songs and dance routines galore …. a real treat leading up to the festive period.

Our Year 10 Expressive Arts group took on the main characters and impressed packed houses for both shows with their developing performance skills. All of them rising to the challenge of breathing life into their characters, memorising lines, singing on their own and perfecting some quite complicated dance routines.

We are incredibly proud of all the pupils involved – whether they were performing or helping out back stage.

Another great team effort and opportunity to for our students to show off their talents !
